As a Clinical Pharmacist I had the luck and experience to carry out my practical training in various hospital in Greece, of different medical specialties.
This whole journey has helped me realize that those with cancer are in themselves a special group of patients who need constant support, monitoring of their medication and the side effects that may be caused by some of them.
Experience from other previous cancer hospitals, made me see the offer to organize and head the Pharmacy at the German Oncology Center in Limassol, as a wonderful and testing challenge.
Not a single day goes by without me realising the important role of every clinic which treats cancer patients. And especially how very much demanding our role is here, at the GOC, in offering specialized and high quality services, with the appropriate cooperation of all departments and specialties.
Marina was born in Cyprus in 1984, and graduated from the Pancyprian Highschool in her home-town of Nicosia, where she still lives in spite of the “threat” from Limassol to adopt her.
