This, intensely symbolic, photo was taken at 9 a.m. of December 6, 2017 by Mark Foley, owner of a historic and prestigious private school in Cyprus, which bears his name and is located opposite our Center, across the road.. He took this shot with his iPhone, standing on the veranda of his office. “It’s so unusual to capture in one single photograph such a beautiful blue sky with two rainbows. And definitely, without photoshop. So, please accept this as a small gift, from one good neighbour to another”. he wrote in this precious message to us.
The German Oncology Center (GOC) aspires to become one of the leading medical centers in Europe. Our 5-year strategy plan is directed precisely towards this target. And, as we expand our services and accumulate precious experience in Cyprus, our vision will always remain the same: To offer care and high quality, professional services to each and every patient who comes to us.
The aim of the GOC is to remain a state of the art medical center in all aspects of: diagnosis, treatment, keeping the patient informed and well treated, pursuing uninterrupted research and anthropological methods for improving the way and the quality of life of our patients
The German Oncology Center came to add to and improve the landscape of medical treatment in Cyprus. It’s not just our equipment, our doctors, our nurses and our services – all of which we constantly try to offer at the highest possible level.
There is also a philosophical and humanitarian approach. Which is embedded in the whole way we function – from the very first contact with each patient, the first examination and evaluation, the first attempt to get acquainted with the hospital environment and its people, to the way we share the good and the difficult.
